Want to record split screen video 2 cameras- help

Sorry it’s such a basic question but I am having trouble. I want to record video from 2 cameras in a 50/50 split screen on MacBook Pro. Say builtin Facetime camera and webcam. Is there a template for this? I am having trouble locating instructions in thew guide. Thanks!
