Video Preview gives an error

Before adding a video (.mov) to a slideshow, i want to preview this video in the media browser (internal or mediabrowser window). Here i get this error: “Bei der Vorschau dieses Dokuments ist ein Fehler aufgetreten” - "An error has occurred while previewing this document. This happens with each video. All those videos can be viewed an played inside Photos app, with Quicktime player and VLC app without any problem.

Please give me a hint so i can preview videos inside fotomagico without leaving the program each time.

Fotomagico 6.7.3, Macbook pro 2019, macOS Sonoma 14.7

Hi @JoHub,

Thanks for reaching out with this issue. If the video can be played in QuickTime Player, it should be able to play in FotoMagico. Could you please send us an example video and/or FotoMagico document that has this behavior to support@boinx.com?

I sent an email with the requested files attached.

To precise my issues i must confirm, that the mov file plays when moved to the timeline, but i am not able to preview from the media sidebar or the media browser.

Please see my starting post: FotoMagico 6.7.3 (1016057) purchased primarily in 2022 from Boinx Website, but due to problems with Abo payments to FastSpring, i refreshed the Abonnement this spring from Mac AppStore.
