Text not showing when selected

When I double click on a text box the text disappears and I can’t see what I’m typing. Impossible to edit.

Just taking a guess here, since a lot of details in your post are missing. What version of FotoMagico are you running? And, is this the FIRST time you’ve run FM and this issue appeared, or has it worked correctly before and now all of a sudden it seems to have stopped working?

  1. When you say you double-click on a text box, is the text already there in a pre-existing text box? Have you already typed something in? Or are you talking about when you FIRST click on “Add Text” and then click on the “Double-click to Edit” text that appears in the text box? Is THAT when you say the text “disappears”? Do the control points around the box also completely “disappear”?

  2. Is it possible that you have the Text > Size set to something extremely small, and it kinda looks like the text is not there? Check that setting in the Options panel to the right and bump up the text size if that’s the case.

If the text box actually “disappears” on screen (I mean, there ain’t nuthin’ there!!), the guys at Boinx will have to help. As far as I can remember, I’ve never had that specific problem (the text size slider issue, though, I have come across).

In addition to the questions stantastic has asked I would like to know what color your background is? Please can you share two screenshots, one with the text box not selected and one with the selected textbox?
