Resizing from corners?

I can’t seem to find the answer to this online and no one is answering this question elsewhere.

When I resize sources that I put on the screen in mimoLive it always resizes from the center no matter what I do.

So this makes it extremely difficult to line things up properly because where as if I can resize from the edges… say I have it lined up against another source perfectly but need to resize it from the left so that it stays against the source… This does not happen. It always resizes from the center meaning that it’s now covering the other source it was next to and I have to move it.

And also it’s extremely difficult to size to exact size to fit perfect because it’s always moving from the center therefore I have to resize a bit and then hope it’s right and if not do it again over and over and many times I find it’s just not possible to get it perfect and I give up.

Are you currently using the Placer layer for this purpose? If so, you might want to check out the PIP Window layer. It allows for easy adjustments at the edges of a source, and you can set the placement of the source to different modes, including ‘Custom,’ which enables complete freedom to position your source in the window as needed.

Additionally, the Split Screen layer could be of interest. It offers a variety of pre-configured layouts, and also includes a ‘Custom’ mode, allowing you to create your own layout.

Let me know if these layers meet your needs!

I have no idea what any of those things are. I am coming from OBS. So I saw what I call sources on the left (video capture sources, background, image, etc.) and I dragged them onto the “stage” I guess you could say. The screen in the middle.

I basically added a couple video sources on the left, and then I dragged them over onto the middle screen that represents what the viewer sees.

Looks like I have some reading to do in the documentation
