I wanted to record a comment but the commenting function is marked as inactive and an error message “MacBook Pro microphone cannot be used” appears
What is wrong here?
I use Version 6.5.13

It’s not a function I have ever used. But when I opened the narration assistant I got a message asking if I wanted the app to have access to my microphone. So I think your problem relates to permissions.
I assume you are on 5.6.13.
