I have been using a second MBP to run Keynote/PP presentations as a “camera” source using an Elgato Cam Link 4k capture device ie HDMI to thunderbolt. The source resolution is set at 3840x 2160 and the second MBP display resolution is approximately the same yet I still get jagged text and reduced quality of images in Mimolive compared with the second MBP screen. Am I doing something wrong or is this “normal”?

It is difficult to say what exactly is going on without more information. My guess is that the PowerPoint output is scaled somewhere along the way from the app in your one MacBook to the mimoLive document on the other Mac. Maybe the mimoLive document is not set to the same resolution as the capture? Or the MacBook Screen isn’t set to the same resolution as the Elgato?
Can you please post some screenshots of the problem and the document so we can figure out what’s going on?

You are absolutely correct - I had checked all the resolutions except the document resolution which was set much lower.
When I matched this resolution the text/image quality was perfect.
