In Zoom No MimoLive Virtual Camera Available… Back down to MimoLive Version 6.8.3 (30425) open document, red light on MimoLive virtual camera. In Google Meet - MimoLive Virtual Camera Available. Hi Jourdan,
I’m sorry for the troubles. Please go to mimoLive → Settings → Extensions.
Remove the Virtual Camera Plugin (if present) and the Virtual Camera Extension.
Reboot the computer.
Go to mimoLive → Settings → Extensions.
Install the Virtual Camera Extension.
If it isn’t installed yet, also install the Virtual Audio Device or update it to make sure that the latest version is installed.
For both, follow the instructions to allow access in the MacOS Settings.
Reboot the computer again.
Now when you launch mimoLive, the Virtual Camera Extension and the Virtual Audio Device should be available. If not, please send me a screenshot of the Settings → Extensions panel.
Thank you sir! I removed old version by dragging to trash. I downloaded 6.9, went to settings / extensions and got the message that the extension was out of date. It had an update button. I pressed it. Virtual Camera light went Green. Tested with Chrome-GMeet/Zoom. Still fail. Rebooted Mac. Tested, now working! A belated happy holiday to you; and may all your streams be error free.
