I cannot see an audio wave form in a video clip on the timeline. I want to add edit points (as with audio tracks) to fine tune the audio of the clip.

I don’t recall ever having the ability to adjust the audio track within a video clip (going back multiple revisions, even before FM 6.x.x). The audio track within a video clip is “built in” to the clip itself and is part of the file – it’s not a separate imported track (like normal audio tracks which can be dinked with in the timeline). Of course, Boinx might be able to add this feature in future versions – but for now I would suggest using a 3rd party application that can extract the audio portion from your video, save it as a separate .mp3/.mp4 file, and then play with fine tuning details that way.
