Achim Guhr mentioned on FM 6.8b1 that he couldn’t figure out how the “new” feature of “multiple styles and icons for a single travel route” is to be implemented. I tend to agree. There doesn’t seem to be anything that describes HOW to do that. I’ve tried a number of times, but still can’t get it working.

Is the interpretation of that REALLY saying that if you have a route, regardless of the number of segments, the “flexibility” mentioned is the ability to assign a SINGLE icon (i.e. a plane or an arrow or a train, etc.) to the ENTIRE route, along with adjusting its color or width, etc.? If so, what makes that different than the previous FM 6.7.8 version that had the same thing?

If it is implying that EACH segment of a route can have different heads and widths, then how is that supposed to be accomplished?

Hi @stantastic @ac-vision

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it isn’t really obvious. Basically, you can change the settings at any waypoint and the settings will be used from then on until they are changed again at another waypoint.

A tutorial and updates to the documentation are being worked on and will be ready for release when the version 6.8 is ready.

I will see if we can release the tutorial for your review before that.

Thanks for the update, Oliver…
