New Feature -- MASKING

I would LOVE to have masking control over every layer. Unfortunately mask is limited to Placers, etc. but I could definitely use it to mask transitions. For example if I wanted a lower third to slide in from the middle of the screen and exit to the right, I could simply mask the left side of screen. Obviously, this is just ONE simple sample

Thoughts??

Hi @lorcott Thanks for your feature request! I’ve heard that before and I think it would be a great idea. However, currently, layers are self contained Quartz Compositions, so this feature would have to be added manually to each layer. We’re keeping this in mind however, for the next generation…
