Is it possible to specify the max resolution received from a mimoCall? As I understand it a mimoCall is based on the WebRTC protocol and will send the maximum resolution possible based on the available bandwidth, processing power and source camera specs.
If my mimoLive project is set up at 720p, a mimoCall sending 1080p seems excessive. I presume it also adds a processing burden to the mimoLive project as it has to downscale the image.
Not an answer, but a better way to enhance the quality of calls and reduce the bandwith usage is in my opinion a possibility in mimo, that i miss at the time, to reduce the returnfeed to 720p or 360p and priotizing the audio over video. The return from mimo goes with full HD 2,5Mbit on its way and the incomming ist often shaking between 360 and 720p.
