After the update to 6.7.5, I was happy to finally be able to use LR Classic again, but unfortunately there are problems. If you want to work professionally with FM, you have to be able to rely on the program. I am currently working on a show with 380 images that are saved in a collection in LR Classic 14.1.1. All images are in full resolution, e.g. 5770 x 3133 px. However, individual images are only displayed in 720 x 704 in the media browser. Even if you reload the folder in the media browser, nothing changes. The solution for me so far has been to remove the file in the LR collection folder and then read it back into the collection folder. Then reload the folder in the media browser.
Then the file is available in the correct resolution again.
But that is not a workflow that I can accept, it is counterproductive.
It also happens sporadically with some images that are recorded by the media browser in the FM timeline that they have a significantly lower resolution than the original file.
The solution is then the same again. Delete the file, re-read it, and then put it back in the timeline.
This is not how I imagined working with FM. For a 5-minute show, this might be acceptable, but not for a 90-minute show. I would be grateful if you could solve this problem promptly. My performance is in 2 months
Kind regards

Sorry for the inconvenience!
The issue is that FotoMagico only has access to the thumbnails stored in Adobe Lightroom Classic for each image, rather than the original file. Therefore, the small images you are seeing are likely thumbnails rendered at a low resolution by Lightroom Classic.
Re-adding the images to the folder in Lightroom Classic may trigger a re-rendering of the thumbnails, and FotoMagico should then has access to a higher-resolution version of the image. This will only work if you configure Lightroom to generate full-resolution thumbnails.
My suggestion is to re-render all previews for your image database. To do this, follow these steps:
- In the Adobe Lightroom Classic menu, select “Library > Previews > Build 1:1 Previews.”
- Lightroom will prompt you to choose whether to process all images in the database or just the selected ones. Please select “Build All.”
Keep in mind that this process may take quite some time depending on the size of your database.
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks Achim, that helped.
I actually knew that from the previous version, I just forgot. Thank you very much.
I have another question: would it be possible to get a printout or a display like the contact sheet (print contact sheet) in FM, just as a list where the names of the files, size and resolution are shown. That would give you an overall overview of the resolutions of the images and you could make corrections if necessary.
