macOS 26.5 / supported OS versions?

Hello! Apple released macOS 26.5 which has an interesting feature for Mac mini use: Boot up when power is connected.

The download page for mimoLive still recommends to run it with macOS 14, I myself run it with 15.7. So should mimoLive work with 26?

When I updated to 15 there was audio issues with Thunderbolt and Virtual Sound Cards with mimoLive until 15.2. fixed the issues.

Also I’ve noticed on Facebook group that some people had issues with NDI sources when running mimoLive with macOS26.

Has anyone here used mimoLive succesfully with 26.x?

As of now, we are not aware of any issues specific to mimoLive on macOS 26. However, if any problems do arise, rest assured we are highly committed to resolving them as quickly as possible.

Our anonymous usage statistics for mimoLive show that the adoption rates of macOS versions are as follows:

macOS 26: 63%
macOS 15: 26%
macOS 14 or older: 11%
