Mac Mini Set-Up/Multiple Outputs

Hello-
I am looking to spec a system for a client and wanted to know if anyone has a set-up similar to this and how it has worked for them:

Mac Mini (2.8GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz), 16GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM, 1TB Fusion Drive, Intel Iris Graphics)

Sonnet xMac Mini Server

(1) BMD ATEM 1 M/E Switcher

(2) BMD Decklink 4k Pro

I am worried that Mimo with 4in/4out may be a little intense on the integrated graphics.

And can you have multiple outputs from mimo?

Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

The ATEM will handle all the inputs. All you need to do is send the program out to mimoLive, so it’s only dealing with one input. For output, you can use an UltraStudio 4K or 4K Extreme. You can also send the output from mimoLive back to the ATEM via the UltraStudio 4K and then use all the outputs on the ATEM.

I need more details on the workflow to know how best to set it up.

In addition to @“Jason Jenkins”'s reply you may look into this PDF to get an idea how such a setup can look like:

@“Achim (Boinx)” What are you thoughts on the suitability of a Mac mini 2018 for scenario 2 in the pdf. How does the ATEM compare with a camera as a video source? I assume it just brings in the program feed plus preview feed roughly equivalent to 2 camera sources. Do you know?

@Dsal22 Thats correct: The ATEM doesn’t provide all the individual camera sources but the Program out and/or the Multiview only. Both can be captured by Black Magic Ultrastudio Mini Recorders in order to be used in mimoLive. The new Mac Mini should be capable of working with those signals without any problems.

Thanks for the info Achim
