I have just purchased a license for mimolive but now it seems I need to purchase an additional license for the use of the Lower Third option. Is that correct?
If I click on Purchase Online the only option I can see is to buy an Addon Pack of lower thirds. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

Lower Thirds Are Built In, You must be trying to buy additional ones ?
There are some lower thirds which are built-in and included, but Boinx also has some which are available as paid add-ons. There are other paid add-ons as well, like Sports Team Data display (scoreboards), and a plugin for controlling BlackMagic ATEM switchers.
