Issue with Audio Sync in Boinx TV During Live Stream

Hello everyone,

I’ve been facing an issue with Boinx TV during live streams where the audio gradually falls out of sync with the video over time. The stream starts perfectly in sync; but after about 30 minutes; there’s a noticeable delay. :upside_down_face:

I’ve tried adjusting audio buffer settings and even switched between different audio inputs; but the problem persists. I have checked https://forum.boinx.com/t/audio-video-no-synch-mimolive/16015- sfmc reference guide but still need help.

Has anyone else experienced this; or could recommend a solution to maintain proper sync throughout a live broadcast? :thinking:

Hi @danieldelex I’m sorry about the sync issues. Can you please let me know what version of mimoLive (I assume you’re not using BoinxTV as it does not have RTMP streaming) you’re using and what service you’re streaming to?

Also, do you also notice this syncing issue locally on your Mac? Do you record locally as well? Is the audio in sync there?

I’ve had reports recently with some streaming services having sync issues on their end. When you send your live stream to a streaming service provider, they usually re-encode the stream to optimize for compression. This may cause sync issues as well.
