Is Photo slide overlay over Music Video (and soundtrack) possible

I am considering FotoMagico but had an initial project in mind and didn’t know if it was possible in Photomagico. I have a particular Music Video (with its soundtrack) that I want to start off with, cut back to from time to time, but also have photographic slides take the video priority while the soundtrack continues to play. I also have video segments from a different video I would like to overlay, but still keep the soundtrack going. The important part would be when returning to the original Music Video, that the voice is still in synch with the video.

I think FotoMagico is not build for such complex video editing. You will need to have multiple video tracks and audio tracks. I guess you have to use FinalCut for this. On the other hand you can go ahead and download FotoMagico and try it for free.
