iDVD abends repeatedly after making a slideshow change

I’m not sure what to make of this. I successfully exported a slideshow to iDVD. Everything was great.

Then, I went back and replaced one of the images in the slideshow and exported again. Now, when I try to play the slideshow from within iDVD it aborts without warning. Also, if I try to burn a disc, I get the error message “There was an error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows. The burning process has been canceled.” from iDVD.

Help?

It’s hard to say what happens here, as this seems to happen in iDVD. At this stage, FotoMagico doesn’t have any more control over what happens. Have you tried to re-export it once again into a new document?

I tried re-exporting, restarting my machine, running only iDVD… nothing worked.

Then, I decided that insanity was doing the same thing over and over, so I changed the iDVD Theme I was trying to use. I finally got a DVD burned. I really wanted to use the original them, but I also was tired of 90+minute exports followed by abends, so I just smiled and said, “Done.”
