How to get cursor spotlight w/o showing keystrokes

Hey folks,

I can’t activate the cursor spotlight without flashing the hotkey strokes. It’s distracting in the middle of a tutorial. I need the keystrokes to show but not when activating the spotlight. How can I do this?
