Help, I'm looking for a more intelligent solution for the soundtrack

I’m creating public multivision shows with FM 6.7.5.
This means that the image/video is played manually via Presenter with background music and live moderation. At the points in the presentation where there is live moderation via microphone, the volume of the music should be reduced. So far I’ve done this using volume changes where I lower the sound curve by setting new points.
This method is far too complicated and flawed, however - especially if you add images to the timeline later.
Then the sound curve shifts and everything has to be created manually. I would like to have the option of only lowering the part of the audio track that is below the image using ducking.
This is easy to do in other programs.
Perhaps you can include this as a suggestion.
