Even though I don’t use it, when “Preferences… > Authoring > When inserting images: Apply automatic animation” is chosen, the images remain static and do not animate.
SORRY!! I take back my previous post – it must have been a temporary glitch, or I did something in the wrong order. It does appear to work. Again, though – I personally don’t find the function useful for my needs.
