The iPad version 1.6 won’t open any files that I have made on my Mac version 6.7.4. On the iPad i get the spinning wheel “Loading” forever. The demo 2021 (downloaded thru iPad app)file opens and functions on the iPad. Interestingly on my iCloud drive the demo shows as a folder which contains the package contents of a .fms file. Am I doing something incorrectly.
I’ve discovered that if in the Mac version you save the file to the iCloud Drive then open on the iPad the file loads fine. Perhaps I missed that fact in the manual/instructions but if you save to the Mac and then transfer that file to iCloud Drive the file will not open on the iPad it just is stuck at “Loading”.
Thank you very much for your findings regarding the loading issue on iPads when using iCloud. Unfortunately, we tried your workflow but weren’t able to reproduce the failure. However, we have an idea of what might cause this behavior, and we are interested in finding the root cause.
Could you please let us know which macOS version and iOS version you are running on your Mac and iPad?
