Facebook asking for Access token to Add mimolive account.

The Facebook streaming service has encountered an error while creating a new live stream using the Facebook API. (Code 200: (#200) App does not have permission to create live video on this user)

PLEASE HELP OLIVER. WHY?

@203 I’m sorry to hear that you experience problems with Facebook.

Can you please confirm that you’re using the most recent mimoLive version 4.7.3?

If so, here are a couple of things you can try:

  1. Remove the Facebook account from your preferences in mimoLive. Also remove mimoLive from your Facebook Business Integrations (facebook.com -> Settings -> Business Integrations). Then re-add the account in mimoLive.

  2. Make sure you are an admin on the page you want to stream to.

  3. If all else fails, you can use the RTMP fall back method: https://docs.mimo.live/docs/facebook-rtmp-fallback

Again, I’m sorry about this mess. The reason for this is that Facebook is currently undergoing a lot of changes as a reaction to the various scandals, security and privacy issues they’ve encountered over the past two years. We’re doing our best to keep up and are working on further improvements to restore the stability and functionality we all expect from mimoLive.
