DNG files

hello everybody,

I’m a lightroom user and all my pictures are DNG files. How can I browse that kind of files.
The solution is to export the files in a JPG format. but it’s not very comfortable.

Thanks for your answer

Gil

Hello Clark,

DNG files are RAW files that need to be developed and interpreted. Lightroom does this for you when you open them. These files are not intended to be used directly. This is also the reason why we recommend exporting JPEGs first. These are developed files that are also flattened into 8 Bits of color depth (what todays screens can display). FotoMagico can access the internal preview Lightroom renders if you have enabled this. Like that you can browse your lightroom catalog right inside FotoMagico.

OK
Thanks Bastian
