Sorry to all of you who experienced immediate crashes on capture, drag&drop or insert. We just released version 2.8.1 that solves that issue. Get it from http://boinx.com/download/#istopmotion
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to once again still camera capture on Mac OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.8 (and Lion). We are working hard to deliver a fix very soon. If you are still running v10.6.7 please continue to do so for now. In that case iStopMotion 2.8.1 should work fine.
