tip: how I solved my camera problem

Hello, don’t know if this has been addressed elsewhere, but sometimes my Canon Rebel will not be recognized by iStopMotion, or it times out and won’t take a picture. Here’s my solution:
It’s the camera memory card – apparently the connection is very finicky about the card, even though we’re not using the card to store photos. If I use a different card, or clear off the photos that are on the card, or even snap a couple of photos onto the card and then restart everything, usually the camera connects perfectly. I’ve also found that certain SD cards never work, even when they’re empty.
So if you have connection problems, try another card, or try adding or removing pictures from your current card.
