The best configuration with 2 camcorders ?

Hello,
I want to use 2 “firewire” camcorders with Boinxtv.

My Configuration : MacBook Pro 8go and Sonnet’s FireWire/USB ExpressCard with 2 connectors

My question : what is the better configuration ?

  • 2 same models (canon hv40)
    or
  • 2 different models (canon hv40 + ??? Ok for suggestions)

I heard about “Firewire address” problem with 2 identical models ?

You need to connect one camera to the internal FireWire port and the second one to the Expresscard. Otherwise It won’t work. I’d suggest getting two identical cameras.
