Since BoinxTV can handle IP cameras from Axis, has anyone tried using an Axis video server with it?
(They do have various models)
I have seen the product work by itself and it encodes analog video feeds and digitizes them. The Mac can see all four sources using IPs. So, I am just guessing that this product alone could handle a 4 camera setup and the Mac would only need to be hooked up to to a local network, gigabit preferred of course. Plus, the device is only around $500. I spent well over $1100 to have four feeds using firewire DACs, plus extra firewire cards on a MacPro.
