Yesterday I updated to istopmotion 2.8 and also installed Snow Leopard. Now I am having difficulty getting the program to interface with my cameras. When I take a picture through istopmotion, I get a frame which says, “Capturing one frame. Getting data from camera.” Several seconds later, the camera clicks and takes a picture. Several seconds later, I get a message: “Capturing an image failed because operation timed out.” And I receive no picture on the istopmotion time line from the camera. This happens with both my Nikon L20 and my Canon EOS Rebel T2i. I believe that my built-in isight works. Can you offer advice on how to solve this problem? I have used the L20 before with istopmotion without a problem.
Assuming you immediately went to Snow Leopard 10.6.8, please head over to this thread: http://boinx.com/forum/#/discussion/182/boinx-istopmotion-2.8.2-beta-1-is-out
Sorry about the confusion, but we can’t quite keep up with Apple changing the framework all the time.
