Sorry to be such a newbie here, but is it possible to go forward in the timeline, i.e. to a place where no frames have been recorded yet? I’ll admit I’m a bit used to Flash animation and my weird self-taught animator habits so maybe I’m approaching it in the wrong way. I’ve tried clicking on the desired frame and attempting to move the photo taken for a certain frame further into the timeline, to no avail.

No you can’t go beyond the last frame. But you can shoot the frames first and then shoot the ones you need before that afterwards with the playhead at the right position. The other alternative is to shoot each sequence in it’s own document.
