PhotoPresenter 4.1.6 not supported by Mavericks??

I consistently get crashes when I run slideshows on PhotoPresenter after upgrading to Mavericks. Any ideas?

Please can you provide full crashlogs by sending them to support(at)boinx.com referring to this forum post. Thanks!

Just sent a crashlog to the support address.

There are major problems running PhotoPresenter Mac on OS-X 10.9 Mavericks, therefor we decided to remove the app from the app store. Currently we don’t plan to update the application to make it run on Mavericks. If you wish to get a refund, please contact Apple at https://getsupport.apple.com . I am pretty sorry for this inconvenience!

Requested a refund from Apple and they refused the request. This is disappointing as I previously had a very good experience with Boinx Software. Can you issue a refund or credit? Thanks! Guy

I guess I’m one of the more fortunate ones; I’ve had no trouble running 4.1.6 on a late 2012 Mac Mini and 10.9.2. My version of PP was bought directly through Boinx a few years ago.

However, it would be great if Boinx would offer us PP users an upgrade to FotoMagico for a modest fee.

I /does/ startup on my 2014 MacBook with Mavericks. However, after 5s or so I get the dreaded spinning beach ball of death. The app becomes unresponsive and needs to be force-quit. How sad…
