Panasonic HDC-SD90 compatible with boinx?

I am planning to get the Panasonic HDC-SD90. It has an avmulti and a hdmi output.
Does anybody know this works with thunderbolt or firewire 800?

The camera only delivers a live image via HDMI. You’d need a HDMI capture card as well if you don’t have one yet…

Can you tell me more on the HDMI card? I’ve just bought the HDC-SD90 to do some animation with the Boinx iStopmotion but can’t get a live picture on the iMac?
