No Audio During Movie Playback

I have tried playing .mov, .mp4, and .avi files and the video plays fine, but there is no audio. When the video is playing the audio meter goes up and down. I have tried multiple files, checked my iMac’s audio settings, etc.
Please help. I am using the demo and no audio on video playback would be a serious issue.

By default the “playthrough” is disabled to avoid audio feedback with your mic. You can enable the playthrough in the “Headset” icon menu in the top area of the document window on the right. Anyways it should be recorded to the movie on disc.
