Mac Mini up to snuff for large FM projects?

I have seen the specs for FM and that it is recommended that the computer have a high performance graphics chip.

My Mini is a 2.0 Core Duo from 5-6 years ago and has shared memory for graphics.

I did a small test file with FM 3.8.

I was able to embed my content and save the file but after a while FM crashed.

I do not know if it was due to the file or some other issue.

I don’t want to spend a lot of time experimenting if indeed the Mini is just not capable enough to do the work.

But I also do not want to pop $1,000 USD for a new machine just for this project (the Mini handles my day to day just fine).

Any info/advice is much appreciated.

The problem with the graphics card is that it may not have enough video RAM or don’t support certain commands we need. But usually FotoMagico don’t crash after a while because of this but tells you at start time if the graphics card is supported or not. If you have still problems with the crashing app, please contact support@boinx.com and attach a crashlog.
