Istopmotion and canon 5d mark II

Hello I am using the demo version of istopmotion to test if it works with canon 5d mark II. In the camera table it is written tht it should work with leopard 10.6.8 wich is what I have but:

  • the camera is recognized but I have the message “NO live preview… in the transport area”.
  • with all the command manual, jpeg picture only and card empty, when I push the red button to take a picture I have the message: “Capturing an image as failed because the operation has timed out”.

All this make me think that the program does not work with this camera… do you have any suggestion?

Live view support is currently not possible for DSLRs in general, only triggering single frames.
We tried a 5D MKII and found that the latest firmware needs to be installed on the camera, otherwise the camera will simply ignore the capture command.
