ipad video to mac

Hi folks, I’m a newbie here. I’ve been tasked with setting up our school tv studio. Am keen to go down the iPad/iographer camera route and use a mac for live editing/switching. Is it possible to input an iPad video feed (via wifi maybe) and live edit on an iMac? Seems like a nice solution in my newbee mind. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I’m new too. Saw this today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8Mf7CPpEr0 and got my own version up and running…

To get the iPad screen I followed the apps mentioned in the youtube video above: ReflectorApp into CamTwist, and I hacked the Syphon Client into one of BoinxTV’s exported .qtz

If you just want wireless camera, you might look for a free app called TLRemoteCamera, then you add a program called TCPSyphonClient on the Mac…

You will need to download the Syphon plugin for QuartzComposer, and build a Syphon Client .qtz layer for BoinxTV. Do a search for Syphon here on the forums, and check the tutorial for importing/exporting a quartz layer.
