ipad - how to backup iStopMotion files

I have to restore my iPad but I don’t want to erase my iStopMotion projects. I have .movs of the projects already backed up (off the iPad), but it’s unclear how to back up raw (editable) projects. Anyone know how to backup iPad - iStopMotion (editable) projects? - It may be that the .mov files are the only files generated by iStopMotion AND are editable. Thanks!

There is no built in functionality, but with the free iExplorer from Macroplant (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/), you can easily do that. I recorded a short tutorial: http://screencast.com/t/3HW9Ob14fS3

Bastian - thanks heaps! (a bit lonely in here…) iExplorer’s awesome - appreciate the effort with your tutorial. Maybe Boinx will add backup support one day. The iPad app’s sweet. Go well stay well.
