Importing Images to Timeline

First I’m new, so apologies if this is obvious. I can’t find what I’m looking for in the documentation, which seems very lackluster.

I have a series of individual JPG files I want to import to animate but:

  1. I can’t seem to move the timeline marker to where I want to place these files
  2. I can’t find a way, once imported, to paste cut images to a specific place on the timeline

Can anyone offer me some suggestions? Thanks.

  1. You should be able to drag and drop the JPEG files directly from your desktop (Finder Window) into the timeline of FotoMagico. While you are dragging the play head of the timeline should move along so you are seeing exactly where the new images will be inserted.

  2. Cut/copy/pasting images should work too: select an image in the timeline, press command-x to cut it from the timline, move the playhead to another location (by dragging the blue triangle at the top) and hit command-p. also you should be able to drag the images itself within the timeline from one location to another.
