How to get a Canon 6D to work with iStopMotion?

I´m trying to get my new Canon 6D to work with iStopMotion. The program finds the camera, and there is a preview… But to capture a frame I have to do the operation in two steps; first take the shot, and then (with another record-button) put it on the timeline…!? Is there a better (simpler) way to do it??

iStopMotion 3

You can hit “5” on the keyboard to capture a frame and insert it immediately. You can setup the keyboard short cut in the iStopMotion Preferences.
