Hello,
My name is saba, I’m using mimoLive for my works over on https://www.facebook.com/AccessibilityIsFreedom

After I’ve tried for the 1st month.
I’m happy with mimoLive, but there’re serval issues that I’d like to post:

https://www.facebook.com/AccessibilityIsFreedom/videos/1201464349876208/
https://www.facebook.com/AccessibilityIsFreedom/videos/1202151579807485/
https://www.facebook.com/AccessibilityIsFreedom/videos/1207993109223332/ (the most terrible)

And also I’ve test on my personal id.

When I do start live-show to live to Facebook as well as doing the local record.
All time I got frame drop, then I found some time I found audio out of sync.
I’ve found with in 1hr of live I got a 6,992 drop frames.

But testing live with no local record, there’s almost none drop frames.

I noticed that on live status said 'Encoder Status: (Software).
How could I use or config as being some kind of (Hardware) or using the graphic card?
Or any better configuration that I’ve to do?

Still no respond, let me add the screen sample.

Saba, Thank you for using mimoLive. I’m sorry to hear about the performance problems. We’re currently looking into this problem and I will report back when we have new information.

Saba, are you using the H.264 also for recording to disk? In this case, the issue is that the hardware H.264 encoder can only be used to encode one thing at a time.

While we try to figure out how to use it for both purposes, engineering suggests you could try to use ProRes 422 for recording instead of H.264. This should enable the stream to use the hardware encoder. Could you please try this and report back?

Hello Oliver,
Thanks, Yes I did totally recorded by using ProRes422.

Update today I tested with 30min live using the same configuration and I got a (Hardware-Accelerated) and no frame drop …

I did first by restarting my MBP before doing live.

Will test more…
