I am considering purchasing Boinx for a video project that would be produced on-location with three cameras. I need the capability to smoothly cut between three cameras while shooting this project. However, I notice while using Boinx that frequently when I switch between cameras either one of two things happen: the camera I’m switching from freezes for a half second before switching to the next camera OR black pops up for a second or two. Could this just be a matter of an incorrect setting? Obviously I can’t have this issue when shooting.
Please use the Video switcher layer for video switching. It solves this effect and is made specifically for switching cameras.
