Facebook Live Stream at 1080P

Hi all, has anyone managed to achieve a 1080p Stream on FB live? the signal si being pushed at 1080P and the FB live stream dashboard confirm the stream at 1080P but somehow the final output is always 720P

Any idea ?

The above can be ignored… it seems it’s FB that limits the stream quality to 720P (for those who need to know)

Facebook pages are limited to 720p in general. Except you’re the owner of a gaming channel (with a special amount of viewers. https://www.facebook.com/fbgaminghome/creators

@FUNKist There is a lot going on behind the scenes. If you’re using mimoLive with the built-in Facebook API support, you can stream with 1080p. On my pages and news feeds, it also shows up in 1080p on Facebook, but some users seem to be limited to 720p.

Also, as soon as you use the RTMP method, it’s limited to 720p.

Are u sure about that? Facebook clearly states that 1080p reserved for gamers… also, is your page 1080P is post live stream (post processing) or during the live stream… (Massive difference)
