External Camera Input - HELP PLEASE!

Hi Guys,

My school has just bought a Panasonic AG-AC7 and I am going to be using BoinxTV to use in conjunction with the school’s musical. I have been loaned a MacBook Pro. How do I add the camera to the Mac Book? The camera’s specs are at http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/AG-AC7.asp#

Unfortunately the camcorders usually don’t provide a live output over the USB port. You will need a 3rd party HDMI capture device. If the MacBook Pro you are using is having a ThunderBold port already you may use a BlackMagic UltraStudio Mini: http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/ultrastudiothunderbolt/
Please check the system requirements for this device before you buy.
