of course it is possible to encrypt FotoMagicos Standalone Player image files. Therefor you have to enable FotoMagicos image file encryption which can be found in FotoMagicos Debug Preferences:

Open your FotoMagico slideshow<\\li>
Click on "FotoMagico" next to the Apple in the menu bar.<\\li>
hold "alt or option" - key and choose "Debug Preferences"<\\li>
Click on "General" in the "Debug Preferences" window<\\li>
Enable "Encrypt player image files"<\\li> <\\ol> <img src="http://www.boinx.com/chronicles/media/MD000458.jpg" \\>
After this is enabled, all images in the Standalone Player package will be encrypted and can't be accessed or used for other purposes as you intended.

Does the encrypt feature also code each photo with copyright information? If not, how do I insert that information onto slideshow photos and videos?

it doesn’t. It just encrypts the files inside of the player bundle. If you want this information to be imprinted in the photo, you can do that in e.g. Lightroom.
