Error 2048

Created an istopmotion movie on an iMac OSX 10.8.3 using version 2.8.4. We have tried opening the file and get the following message: ‘The document could not be opened. An unknown error occured. (Error code -2048).’

We have used it before with similar file sizes and have not had any problems. We have tried duplicating the file and using file recovery utilities but none work.

The file is 1.06 gb in size. If anyone has any ideas to help us unlock this file it would be much appreciated.
