Crashes after connecting to DSLR

Hey everyone!

I recently purchased iStopMotion. I opened the software and everything worked perfectly, but then when I tried to connect my Canon EOS Rebel SL1 via USB the software crashed! I tried it again multiple times with no luck.

I am having the same issue. The software crashes every time I select my Canon 450D from the source list (connected via USB.) I’m running on High Sierra…could this be the problem?
