Hello,
We are upgrading the computer that runs Boinx. We currently use a 2012 Mac Pro. We use Boinx a lot for our multi-camera productions, especially sports. We use 3 to 4 JVC GY-HD110 cameras that we connect via firewire. In the current Mac Pro, we have separate video cards for each of the camera inputs. And we attach 3 monitors to the computer, so that we can monitor our live stream, work with Boinx, and monitor our cameras. But we are unsure if that configuration can be replicated with the redesigned Mac Pro. Is this configuration/functionality possible with the new Mac Pro, or do we need to look into adding some external hardware, like the ATEM TV Studio, etc., and software, like the ATEM Controller? We really want to be able to continue using 3-4 cameras, as well as 3 monitors…it works better for our control room settings. Is this configuration possible with Mac Mini and/or MacBook Pro?
