Chroma Key doesn't work with Nocturn Video Mixer layer

When using a Chroma Key filter in the Nocturn Video Mixer layer, the background is removed but instead of becoming transparent it simply makes the background black. Inside the settings for Chroma Key basic or pro, I can set an image as the backdrop and this works fine. But I want to have the background actually be transparent so that all of the layers underneath the Video Mixer layer show up as the background. Chroma Key works fine on regular layers.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Because the Nocturn Video Mixer layer ( ) supports multiple animations it erases the background with black. If you want to remove this behavior you have to open the layer with Apple’s QuartzComposer Editor and remove the “Clear” patch in the upper right corner.
