I am using a Canon 50D and am trying to connect it to iStopmotion Pro but when I connect all I get is a busy massage on the camera. The program can see the camera but when I take a photo in istopmotion it doesn’t connect and make the shutter release. The message I get on screen is “Capturing an image failed because the operation timed out.” Any suggestions?
If you haven’t done so, can you please try again with the latest beta available through our web site and report your findings?
Here’s the page: http://www.boinx.com/istopmotion/beta/
Please also make sure to disable auto focus and auto exposure, as they sometimes prevent capturing if the camera cannot focus or expose the shot correctly. It always should work in manual focus and exposure mode.
