I am trying to export a slideshow to a Quicktime file, but FM will not let me change the compression settings. Well, I can change the audio compression setting, but if I click the ‘Video’ button in the Quicktime dialog, nothing happens. I am stuck with H.264 as my codec. Is anyone else having this problem?
Unfortunately this is out of control of FotoMagico, because the QuickTime export dialog is presented to you by the MacOS and not by FotoMagico. My assumption is that a certain video codec you have installed is causing an error which don’t let QuickTime to present you the codec setup window. Please open the “Console” application by Apple and examine the output if something odd is happening in the moment you are hitting the “Video Settings…” button in the QuickTime Export dialog.
